Young Women In Harmony
YWIH delivers both musical excellence and education while it gives young women a taste of show business. This program provides educational tools to teach young women singers the joy of performing this American vocal music art form. The goal is to provide educational and performance opportunities through music festivals, contests, and events sponsored locally, regionally, and internationally. Additionally, the YWIH program offers music educators a means of including the study and performance of barbershop harmony in school music programs. Young women are the future of our organization! Over the years, Region 11’s Young Women in Harmony program has sent several quartets to the International Rising Star scholarship competition. Your tax-deductible donations are used to help further the spread of our art form by funding youth harmony festivals and helping our representative quartets travel to the annual International Rising Star competition.
